New Tower Build
Growing cities mean growing infrastructure. SGS provides full turnkey options or standalone tower stacking services. With the full turnkey option, SGS acts as your one-stop-shop, with permitting, civil, fiber, and tower stacking. Whether you need to stack a tower or a full turnkey solution, SGS has the expertise to execute your project with accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
Tower Construction & Modification
In most areas, existing tower infrastructure needs to be modified to hold the additional load from new antennas. SGS performs modifications on all types of towers. We have experience with guy wire swaps, member swaps, leg upgrades, foundation modifications, flat plate installation, and anchor rod installation. Our in-house welders are certified for base and aerial welding.
Drop & Swaps
Towers that have been in service for 75+ years are often ready for retirement. In these cases, SGS provides drop and swap services. After demolishing the old tower and its foundation, we remove them from the site and build a brand new foundation and tower in their place. This allows you to continue to use the same land, but with a new tower that’s ready to last the next 75+ years.
Tower Maintenance
Tower maintenance is often overlooked but always important. These towers take the brunt force of mother nature and should be checked on a regular basis. SGS works with in-house inspection crews to develop a plan to correct deficient maintenance issues, including rust, fraying guy wires, bent members, and the replacement of outdated safety climbs.
Additional Information About SGS Construction Services
All crews are drug tested and fully certified in tower climber safety, OSHA 10/30, CPR, first aid, and RF.
Typical turnaround time is 5 weeks from POW depending on SOW.
We do not provide L&A services at this time.
Based on licensing requirements, we provide full services to the following states: CO, CT, GA, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, ME, MD, MI, MN, MO, MT, NJ, OH, PA, RI, SD, TX, VT, WA, WI, and WY.
Limited service is available for NC, SC, TN, and WV.
